I suppose I skipped over the nessacery basics of the Beast. I shall make up for that now.
It is a 1986 Jeep Grand Wagoneer
She is Deep Night Blue with Honey interior
I *think* it had around 185000 miles when I bought it. It currently has 227000 miles.
She has :
- A 360 V8 AMC engine
- A 228 Chystler 3 speed automatic transmission
- A Dana 44 in both the front and rear end
- A New Process transfer case
I have had this truck for over 10 years and have had a lot of work done to her. This blog is keep keep a running journal of her repair and restoration. Unfortunately these first few entries are just setting the ground lines and are being done off of memory alone. Even sadder still, is all photos and documents were lost when my computer crashed a few years ago.
